Creativity facilitates soul searching and brings subconscious material into awareness.

Creative sessions are designed to guide you through the journey from a non-linear, non-mental space, connecting with your deep heart. The creative process brings to light unconscious material giving form to intangible thoughts and emotions. Using imagery and guided meditation, explore your sacred visions and create visual reflections of your inner heart. You will be guided through exploring inward and finding new meaning and expression for the heartache, love, joy, sorrow, pain and inspiration that all dwell in your memories, thoughts, and emotions. Learn to give form to the intangibles that may be functioning in your life, just beneath the surface. Art gives a voice to our deep hearts and allows expression of that which we have no words for. Making art engages our whole humanity, using our bodies, emotions, minds and spirit to create a palpable expression of our inner world.

My art is intimately connected with my personal healing, growth, and love.

I am a Chicana, artist, and healer who specializes in using creativity and ritual for healing the heart, mind, and soul. Art can be an important part of healing. For me, it is a valued tool in processing and giving voice to my deep heart. It continues to be a valued tool in processing when words escape me. When painting, I work from within, tapping into a well of private memories and examining both the shadow and the light there.

My body of work ranges from sentimental portraits of everyday moments and visionary depictions of the Divine Feminine, to bittersweet, playful renditions of Calaveras for Day of the Dead. My artwork weaves together ideas inspired by personal explorations of healing, cultural knowledge, and spiritual awareness. I use imagery to convey expressions of sacred visions, creating tangible reflections of of inner worlds. We are all spiritual beings navigating across time and space, and my work seeks to embody both transient human emotion and eternal existence.  Laden with allusions of birth and death, time, and mystery I aim to document the unfettered union of mind, body, and spirit. These themes transcend the physical world to portray surreal, mystical, and dreamlike visions meant to facilitate soul searching and bring subconscious material into awareness. I work, live, and create art in Los Angeles where my artwork has been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions with Mujeres de Maiz, Blue Milagro, Self Help Graphics and Arts, Pasadena Art Walk, The Los Angeles County Psychological Association, Plaza de la Raza, The Armory Center for the Arts, Fine Art Solutions, Zona Rosa Caffe, Primera Taza Cafe, and various local pop-up shows in the greater Los Angeles area.
