I am a creative soul, a wounded healer, an artist, therapist, and art therapist. My journey led me from feeling frightened and small, searching for safety and wholeness; to embark upon a luminous process of finding mentors, healers, teachers, and ultimately, myself. For me, this has included everything from reconnecting with my spirituality, to learning to sit in meditation with Tibetan and Sri Lankan monks, studying the science of mindfulness meditation, psychology, and art therapy, and serving as an apprentice learning the ancient healing practice of curanderismo. My art is an important part of my healing and continues to be a valued tool in processing and giving voice to my deep heart. My vision is to passionately engage art and creativity as a healing tool for the heart, mind, and soul. I am honored to share with you and look forward to connecting with you.
I am here as a witness and a guide. At your services to help fortify your inner strength and cultivate hope and joy. I hold individual therapy sessions with adults and families; as well as community art therapy workshops with women, at-risk youth, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers in the greater Los Angeles Area. In addition to local services I facilitate an annual retreat for women in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and am hoping to add more soon. To learn more about services look here.

I am a lifelong artist and hold a BFA in Studio Art from New Mexico State University where I concentrated on a wide array of art making for creative expression and personal growth. I have experience in many mediums from iron sculpture, pottery, metalwork and jewelry making, to painting and drawing. My work has been exhibited with Fine Art Solutions, The Armory Center for the Arts, Mujeres de Maiz, Self Help Graphics and Art, The Los Angeles County Psychological Association, Plaza de la Raza, Blue Milagro, and many local pop-up shows in Los Angeles Area. My art is intimately connected with my personal experiences of healing, growth, and love. It seeks to embody both transient human emotion, and eternal existence. Laden with allusions of birth and death, time, and mystery I aim to document the unfettered union of mind, body, and spirit. You can see it here.
